Thank you so much for taking time for this interview. Can you introduce yourself and your fur friends to our readers first?
Hi, I’m Brianne I’m married with two sons 24 and 19 yrs old. We have two F1 Golden Doodles. Lorenzo “Enzo” he’s 4yrs old and Gianna “Gigi” she is 2yrs old. Our account features our two doodles living their best lives.
Dogs often become an integral part of our daily routines. How have your two furry companions influenced your daily life and schedule?
We are much busier now. Doodles require quite a bit of coat maintenance. We brush them both daily. They also have a standing appointment every six weeks at the groomers.
Your blog showcases beautiful pictures of your backyard and outdoor spaces. How do you incorporate your love for dogs into your home and garden decor? What advice do you have for other dog owners looking to enhance their outdoor spaces and create a dog-friendly environment?
We spend a lot of time in our backyard and wanted a place where our dogs could roam freely. I think it’s important to be aware of which plants in and around your home may be toxic to dogs. We also chose outdoor furniture with material that would be easy to clean. They also have plenty of outdoor balls and toys to play with.
Outdoor activities play a significant role in a dog's health and happiness. What are some of your favorite outdoor activities that you and your dogs enjoy together?
Our favorite outdoor activity is running in the orchards. That’s the only place they’re really allowed to run off leash with no boundaries. They absolutely love it. We also enjoy walks around our neighborhood. Spending time at the beach and camping.
Being a blogger, you likely capture many memorable moments with your dogs. Can you share a favorite or funny anecdote that highlights the unique personalities of your fur friends?
Enzo and Gigi are inseparable. They are definitely best friends. Enzo is more laid-back. Gigi is full of energy and always ready to play. Gigi is definitely in charge. She loves to take toys from Enzo in hopes he’ll chase her. If he decides not to, she’ll just start dropping toys one by one by him/on him, until he finally gets up to play. It’s super cute. She definitely keeps Enzo on his paws and keeps him young. They have a very special bond.
Dogs often bring joy and companionship, but they also require attention and care. How do you manage to integrate your dogs into your outdoor lifestyle while ensuring their well-being and happiness?
Nothing is off-limits in our backyard. As puppies, anytime they go into the backyard we supervise. If we notice behavior that could become a problem, like digging or chewing on plants, we instantly correct it. It takes time, but eventually they figure it out. And then we can all truly enjoy being in the backyard, without having to deal with any behavior issues. You’ll often find the two of them chasing each other around the backyard, sunbathing by the pool, lounging on a hammock or sleeping under the patio on the couch.
As a dog owner and blogger, you likely connect with a community of fellow pet enthusiasts. How has your experience in the online dog-loving community influenced your own approach to dog care and outdoor living?
I had no idea when I first started posting the dogs that I would find such an amazing community of dog owners. We have really connected with a lot of dog owners from all over the world, some I truly considered friends and talk to regularly. I have also had the opportunity to work with a lot of amazing companies.
We can see you enjoying various outdoor activities. What initially sparked your interest in outdoor adventures and how has it shaped your lifestyle?
I love being outdoors and connect with the nature and relax after long working hours. It has broadened my horizons and increased the creativity aspect in my life as well so definitely being outdoors has a huge impact on my lifestyle.
